I'm a psychotherapist practising online and in London. Read about me here.

Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or the aftermath of trauma. Sometimes their struggles are around gender, family expectations, culture or sexuality. They may even be navigating something layered - such as questions of identity and belonging, and their connection or lack of connection to themselves. They may be in the deeper work of figuring out who they are outside of the roles they've been playing for others. How does psychotherapy help? Therapy offers a space where these different threads don't need to be separated out or neatly explained away. I welcome the whole you, with all your complexity, and our work will be rooted in curiosity rather than judgement.I have a particular interest in how identity, culture, and relationships shape the stories we tell about ourselves. My approach is psychodynamic and trauma-informed, drawing on narrative and relational thinking too, because I believe that the narratives we've inherited or built for ourselves can be examined and questioned through different lenses. And where they're not serving us, they can be rewritten. How I work: Our work together will start with your story, told at whatever pace feels right, and we’ll build from there. Some threads will trace back to your childhood, family history and/or major life events, and others will be more related to the present. There's no set structure, no homework, and no pressure to have the right language for things before you're ready. We’ll go steadily, session by session, for as long as it's useful.I ultimately strive to help individuals understand their patterns and what might be keeping them stuck, and how early experiences - and the unconscious - affect their lives in the present. We'll sit with the hard stuff, and over time you'll develop self-awareness and emotional resilience, shifting toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.I work with people from varied backgrounds, and have helped clients address a range of issues including ageing, anger, anxiety, various forms of abuse, age-related issues, bereavement, being a carer, burnout & stress, cultural divides, depression, family, gender, health-related issues, identity, life transitions, loneliness, menopause & perimenopause, parents, PTSD, race, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, sex and childhood/relational trauma. If the reason you're seeking therapy isn't included here, please don't let that put you off getting in touch. You're welcome to contact me to discuss whether I may be able to help.Therapy changed my life; maybe it could change yours.Book a free video consultation below.
